Blind Date Pudding

10 honey dates
½ cup water

Blend together ten dates and a small quantity of water. Continue to add water as the blend gets thicker. Dump into bowls, add sliced banana and throw on a sprinkle of Sucanat. Cool this mixture in the freezer. This will make some of the best pudding you’ve ever tasted and it makes a fantastic base for you to add to your choice of fruits. A dash of vanilla and cinnamon extract will make this pudding even better (yes, it’s possible). Put this blind date pudding in two small bowls, serve, and enjoy! It makes an excellent treat for your new friend.

Though this recipe sound simple, it is simply delicious. I haven’t had a pudding that tastes quite like this before and I was excited about how easy (and how delicious!) it truly was. Like most things on this website, the pudding is truly “idiot-proof,” which is the best kind of cooking.

Our second idiot-proof recipe of the day is:

Milk-Free Chocolate Milk

1 avocado,
1/2 cup of Sucanat
1 1/2 cups of water
6 ice cubes

So many of my friends are lactose intolerant that I thought I’d post this great little alternative. It is extremely filling, has about six hundred calories, and has a great thick cream-like texture. Oh, the flavor is pretty good to boot 🙂

Think of this like an all-natural Big Mac in liquid form. Delicious AND healthy! And you can make it all in your blender. In less than 30 seconds. If you are trying to bulk up (weight lifters among us?), this is the drink for you. If you’re trying to lose weight, this drink is a great meal replacement. Feel free to add a banana, cinnamon, vanilla extract, or anything you want — this one is hard to screw up!
